I thought I would share some photos from our most recent camping trip to North Wales inside the beautiful Land Rover Defender 130. I had a drive out on the fantastic Black Rock Sands at Porthmadog and an explore of the local green lanes in the surrounding hills; eventually setting up camp behind the beach to enjoy some lambchops and pasta pesto thrown together on the stovetop. The views in North Wales are spectacular in the evenings, especially looking down over Barmouth. If you’re looking for a scenic weekend away either with the family or to escape the family, 4×4 camping hire is an excellent option.
Hiring a vehicle is also a great way of seeing whether 4×4’s are really your cup of tea. If you love cars and the outdoors, it’s a brilliant hobby. However, if you’re trying to get into it, adventure camping can be rather daunting to get into. That’s between the upfront cost of a vehicle and equipment and justifying it to your significant other. 4×4 camping hire the hassle and gives you the adventure experience us Land-Rover fanatics crave.
Our largest defender comes kitted out with a pre-stocked campfire and barbeque kit, lots of storage, a mini fridge, camping chairs, a fold-out awning and a two-person rooftop tent. We also provide you with exciting destinations and routes. Snippets of my North Wales trip are shown in the pictures.
